CBSE Capacity Building Programme On ‘Learning Outcome and Pedagogies’

The job of a school teacher in today's dynamic educational environment goes beyond simply imparting knowledge; it also includes the important responsibility of forming children's brains and promoting their overall development. Acknowledging this, a recent training was conducted on ‘Learning Outcome and Pedagogies’ on May 18, 2024, to provide instructors with up-to-date knowledge on pedagogical approaches and learning outcomes. The teachers from different schools participated in the training session.
With an emphasis on personalised learning and student-centric methodologies, the training delved into the crucial aspect of defining clear learning objectives. Teachers were guided to articulate specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) outcomes tailored to their students' needs.
The resource person, Shabnam Akhtar, Vice principal of DPS Katni and Reena Louis, Principal at Shri Gyanratna Academy, Banapura introduced educators to collaborative learning and inquiry-based approaches and a spectrum of methodologies catering to various learning styles and preferences. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, teachers experienced firsthand the transformative impact of employing innovative pedagogies in the classroom.
Essentially, the training on pedagogies and learning outcomes acted as a spark to enable teachers to become change agents in their classrooms. Equipped with an array of efficacious pedagogical techniques and a profound comprehension of educational goals, educators surfaced in a position to stimulate, encourage, and develop the upcoming cohort of scholars, cultivating a more optimistic prospect for all.

CBSE Capacity Building Programme On Stress Management

A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management was conducted on 20th January from 9.30am-5.30 pm for the Primary,Middle,Secondary and Senior Secondary teachers of BBPS Bbps Gadarwara and Carmel School Kareli Distt Narsinghpur. A total of 33 teachers attended the day long workshop.
The Capacity Building Programme started with the felicitation of the CBSE Resource Person Mrs. Kavita Trivedi, Principal, Madhyanchal Podar Learn School, Sonaghati, Betul, MP and Ms. Parumita karmakar, PGT, Mar Thoma Gram JyotiSch, Khitola, Jabalpur, MP.
CBSE training on ‘Happy Classroom’
The CBSE, in its continued efforts to improve the quality of education in affiliated schools, regularly conducts training programs for educators. "Happy Classroom" is one such initiative aimed at promoting a positive and conducive learning environment. Under the able guidance of the Principal Ms Geeta Bhardwaj, BBPS NTPC Gadarwara hosted CBSE training on ‘Happy Classroom’ on 2 September 2023. It was a matter of great pride for BBPS, Gadarwara to collaborate with CBSE and host a training session in their premises.
The primary objective of the workshop was to equip the teachers with strategies and techniques to create a joyful and harmonious learning environment that fosters not only academic growth but also the emotional well-being of students.
The CBSE training workshop on "Happy Classroom" was conducted by renowned educationists and experts in the field of pedagogy and child psychology. The two very able and erudite resource persons were Dr. Hina Bhargava Wadekar and Dr. Deepika Bhambani who had a long list of achievements by their side. The workshop was attended by the teachers from the school, including educators from different neighbouring schools and places. The schools wonderfully showcased by their warm hospitality, why BBPS, NTPC Gadarwara is the ideal venue for CBSE training and how this partnership will contribute to the collective growth and advancement of educational standards. Every aspect and need of the training, facilitators and participants was taken care of really well.
The training was very fruitful as it was the combination of activities, games and interaction sessions. Teachers gained valuable insights and practical tools to create a "Happy Classroom" and better equipped to build stronger teacher-student relationships, manage classroom dynamics effectively, and promote the emotional well-being of our students.
The CBSE training workshop was a resounding success, due to the collaborative efforts of school, the CBSE, and the dedicated educators who participated. The teacher seemed quite confident as they took with them the positive impact of the workshop which hopefully will be felt not only within the classrooms but also in the lives of students.
WORKSHOP ON “MENSTRUAL HEALTH AND PERSONAL CARE”
Effective menstrual hygiene is vital to the health, well being, dignity, empowerment, mobility and productivity of girls. Poor menstrual hygiene may cause stigma, ill health and can lead to school absentism and increased school drop out rates.
Keeping the same in mind an interactive workshop on menstrual health and hygiene was conducted on 21st June 2023 by Dr Princy Tyagi, MBBS, MD (Jeevan Jyoti Hospital) in the school auditorium.
Changes that occur in girls at puberty, myths associated with menstruation, common problems like pain, headache, backache, etc and ways to deal with them were discussed in detail.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Learning is a process which continue and to keep the faculty abreast with the latest happening and changes in education, the training is the essential part of any institution. Ms Rekha Sharma , Academic Adviser ( Child Education Society) and Ms Upasna Dambla, Mentored the Faculty Development.

EYE CHECKUP CAMP

The school organized an Eye Checkup Camp for the students to keep them updated on the correct eye vision. The camp was organized in the school campus by the team of experts.
